Shake Your Tail Feathers

Willow Way was asked to make a custom piece of art for a little girl Kate's new bedroom! Her bedding is Pottery Barn's "Brooke" collection so we knew it had to be special. She wanted owls and birds with fun tails just like on the bedding.

This turned out SO SWEET & the pictures just don't do it justice!

School Fundraiser

Our church's school had a silent auction fundraiser a few weeks ago and we were asked to donate some items! We decided on two owl wall plaques, a set of personalized blocks and a personalized embroidered infant onesie and hat set. Whoever won this set could choose whichever colors and name they wanted. We are currently working on recreating this for them now. Pictures to come soon!

We love canvas art!

Gina's little sister just graduated from Har-Ber High! Her mom wanted this verse on a canvas for her as a gift. She said to just have fun with it and we did. The flowers are fun patterned papers. Har-Ber's colors are blues but we added the yellow because of her fun personality. This canvas is a 16x20.

We also made a coordinating verse on a large 24x36 canvas for her room. It all really came together! Even the garland hanging on the crib made from the cute bird decorations from Grace's baby shower!

For the Love of Birds

Gina and Misty not only share a love of old stuff and handicrafts, we also both love birds! So it was only natural our first creations involved owls. We arrange patterned paper to make trees and owls such as the ones you see here. This picture was made for Gina's little girl's room.

 

 

These are close ups of the cute little owls... and the cute fat ones. The artwork measures 29 x 26 in the frame, but below are some of the owls in smaller frames, and one purple owl on a wooden plaque.

So...one of our friends is having a baby, and she decided to use Willow Way artwork in her nursery! She provided us with a swatch of the bedding fabric and below is what we created for her. We named the design "Grace Tree" after our friend's baby girl.
